I would be interested as to what the link on narrative and score leads to (I think the link may be broken). Great read! You can prescribe this to the onset of Netflix, OnDemand and other internet sites. It also has something to do with the product itself. It's funny that the problem with the current Hollywood model (think: large budget and costly stars in licensed franchises & sequels) seems to form an indefinite loop. Studios pump out these sequels and adaptations because they figure that's what will make them money (rather than original indie projects), but audiences #1 complaint is that there are too many sequels and no originality. It's a weird catch-22 that doesn't offer an easy solution.

In any business, slumping sales should be a sign that the company must take a long, hard look at the product and figure out what's wrong, and how to improve things. This is no different with Hollywood.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09009378467583801475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5072911407107008943.post-41285584089843528692012-03-15T05:22:50.572-07:002012-03-15T05:22:50.572-07:00I think I know what you mean, and I agree that the...I think I know what you mean, and I agree that there are moments in film that allow one to break through the veil, so to speak, and see life in a radically different way. I will definitely download again.

One of the most useful things about Celtx is, in my opinion, the Catalogs feature. This allows you to break down any screenplay in to assets (props, sets, characters, etc) quite easily. I had once used this feature to do a cost bid on a proposed animation script for a creative startup. The head of the company had a background in both filmmaking and manufacturing, but little direct experience in bidding for animation projects. He was quite pleased to see this creative product (the screenplay) presented to him as a spreadsheet with hard data to which he could easily assign fixed costs.Tom Dowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06413095477926822432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5072911407107008943.post-76198997478782643472011-12-02T10:11:08.401-08:002011-12-02T10:11:08.401-08:00You hit it right on the head.
